I grew up in Virginia and moved to Portland 9 years ago. I call this Pacific wonderland home and I love it! I came here for college and never left!

I put my whole heart into it! I love holding space for people to feel nurtured and relaxed.
WHAT IS YOUR TEACHING STYLE?
I teach gentle and restorative yoga which is strongly infused with mindfulness and meditation.

I love practicing mindfulness and meditation. In a softer, more gentle yoga class I like to incorporate some good self-reflection, self-compassion and deepening of our awareness of ourselves and what we need. I care deeply about stress and anxiety reduction and I find yoga to be a perfect opportunity to help with that.

I would say I've had so many incredible yoga and mindfulness teachers and lucky for me they are all around the world. The teacher that had the greatest impact on me is a woman named Kyra Montagu, an Ayurvedic doctor with who I did a 5-month apprenticeship with at her retreat center in the Dominican Republic. To say it changed my life is an understatement. I contiune to incormporate all of her teachers into the work I do.
WHEN YOU'RE NOT FITNESSING, WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?
I am a life and business coach full time! This is my greatest heart's work and I can not get enough of it. I also absolutely love to travel (when there is not a global pandemic) and galavant to some of my places like India or Peru whenever I get the chance.
