Kettlebell Build is all about embracing the weird and awesome potential of kettlebells and of ourselves! I put an emphasis on strength training (heavy lifting!) with some conditioning and skill work sprinkled in. We utilize the basics as well as more technical moves, and there's room for everyone to make progress and try something new!
WHAT IS YOUR TEACHING STYLE?
I would characterize it as enthusiastic, encouraging, and compassionate. My goal is not only to offer you a good workout, but to help you make progress, expand your comfort zone, and have a heckin' fun time!

I'm a huge outdoors enthusiast, so my primary exposure to fitness and activity was hiking. When the weather turned and my willingness to brave the cold was low, I turned to strength training (with ME Fitness's own Rachel Goff!) to cross-train. I positively fell in love with lifting heavy things, and once I got ahold of kettlebells and barbells, my life was changed. They helped me build the strength, stability, and stamina I needed to grow as a hiker and push my limits!
WHEN YOU'RE NOT FITNESSING, WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?
In true Kensie fashion, I'm often found dancing shamelessly in public or hitting the trails to go backpacking, trail running, or mountain climbing. But I've also been known to bake a cake or two!
WHEN YOU'RE FEELING DOWN, WHAT'S ONE THING YOU SAY TO YOURSELF TO GET YOU GOING?
If I'm starting the day: "If I just roll around and stretch out on the floor, it certainly won't hurt."
