WHERE ARE YOU FROM? WHY PORTLAND?
I am from Oregon City but moved to NE Portland earlier this year so I am now much closer to ME Fitness which is a bonus! Also, Portland is just so beautiful and I love being in the city!
WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO THE MEFIT FAM?
What brought me to ME Fit was that I have always loved the gym atmosphere in general and enjoyed being in a place where all people can go to better themselves. Gyms can be scary and intimidating sometimes but ME Fit has created a very accepting and fun environment for all!
WHAT MAKES YOUR JOB SO AWESOME?
The number one thing that makes my job so awesome is getting to come in and see our super fun staff and members! I love the community feeling here at ME Fit. It makes coming in at 6 am a piece of cake!
IS THERE A SPECIFIC NOUN THAT GOT YOU INTO FITNESS? GUSH ABOUT IT PLEASE!
I'd say what got me into fitness and wellness was realizing that I was at my happiest when I was working out and eating well and that was enough motivation for me!
WHEN YOU'RE NOT AT ME FITNESS, WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?
When I'm not at ME Fitness, I like to spend time painting. I have always loved art and being creative but in just the past year I've been dedicating more time to it. I love getting the opportunity to challenge myself with what I create and get better at what I love each day. If I'm not painting, you can catch me watching either an NBA game or a scary movie. I also love being outdoors and going on a hike with friends when I can!
WHEN YOU'RE FEELING DOWN, WHAT'S ONE THING YOU SAY TO YOURSELF TO GET YOU GOING?
What I tell myself if I am feeling down is that the good outweighs the bad and that it's important to be grateful and remind yourself of everything good in your life.
With that being said, everyone has bad days and it's ok not to feel ok sometimes.
