Q?Class Closures

In the interest of the continued health and safety of all involved, we have made the difficult decision to cancel ALL classes starting at 12 p.m. TODAY, March 16, until further notice.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

While classes are cancelled, we are exploring options for LIVE STREAMING classes, posting workouts online, and continuing to provide ways of continuing our movement practice. Continue to check your email as well as visit this page for ways to join in on movement practices in virtual space! Now is the time to keep on keeping on in all those ways that keep you happy, healthy, and most importantly, sane during these uncertain times. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Q?COVID19 Procedures
A.

As you are aware, there is rising concern about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).  In this time of so many unknowns, we are writing to share with you our studio’s current plan to ensure that we are doing all that we are able to keep our community safe and healthy.

Our Current Procedures

  • Extra efforts will continue to wipe down surfaces that are often touched, both in the gym and in the communal transit areas. 
  • We have ordered additional antibacterial/antiviral disinfectant wipes, cleaning solutions, and hand sanitizers stationed around the gym for use by members.  
  • Most classes have been reduced in size to offer more space between participants.
  • All Yoga blankets and bolsters have been temporarily removed from the yoga studio.
  • The ceramic coffee/tea mugs have been removed from the lower lobby water station.  We will only be providing paper cups for public use during this time.
  • A trash receptacle has been placed outside the locker rooms.  This allows members to use their paper towels to open the bathroom doors after hand washing and easily dispose of them upon exiting the locker rooms.

What We Ask of You

  • If you are not feeling well, please stay home!  We are instituting a more flexible cancelation policy so that there does not have to be stress about incurring a fee. Please continue to use the app or website to remove yourself from any reservations. Your instructors still appreciate 2 hour notice so they can plan accordingly for your class sizes. 
  • When entering the facility, please wash and/or sanitize your hands.  Currently, there are two standing Purrel dispensers located just inside the Playground and upper lobby areas. 
  • Please wipe the items that you workout with both before and after use, including the handles of weights, bells, and bars, as well as machine and pulley systems.  We also ask that you wipe down mats, foam rollers, and yoga blocks at this time (don’t worry, we have extra wipes!). 
  • Yoga blankets are now available for purchase at cost from the front desk or you are welcome to bring your own.  

 The Wellness of Our Community is Our Number One Priority! 

We will be monitoring the situation closely and following the guidance issued by the CDC.  Let us all work together in establishing awesome systems of good hygiene as the best preventative to not only take care of ourselves but also our entire ME Fit Fam.  Washing hands with warm soapy water, maintenance of personal immune systems, and cleaning up after ourselves is the best defense we can all take.

Q?Can I bring guest with me?
A.

If you have a membership you have a two time per month reduced guest fee pass option.

  • Gym Only or Gym Plus $10.00 guest fee. The member must be with the guest.
  • Evolution $15.00 guest fee. The member must be with the guest.
  • For a guest who is not with the Member, we offer daily drop-in for all at $17.00 per day per class/gym use or $25.00 for a small group session. All guest passes are for business hours only.
Q?How do I go about getting a replacement Proxy card or FOB?
A.

Small FOBs are available for purchase at the front desk for$14.95. 

Q?I want to bring my child with me (under 18), can they work out?
A.

We ask that all minors under the age of 18 meet with our fitness Manager to assess appropriate levels of activity. No persons under the age of 18 are able to work out without a parent or guardian present. Minimum age allowed is 15.

Q?What is your waitlist policy?
A.

Me Fitness has a digital waitlist for all Group Fitness classes and Small Group Personal Training Sessions. You are able to opt into the waitlist through the website or our mobile app. Waitlist participants are treated the same as class participants regarding the late cancel policy and by choosing to waitlist you are committing to the spot should it open up. Please remove your self from the waitlist prior to the 2-hour window to avoid a late cancellation fee. If you no longer wish to be considered for a waitlist spot you must remove your reservation.

Q?I want to update my card information, how do I do that?
A.

Please call 503-282-7900 for the front desk to update your card information or stop by the front desk. Credit card updates via the app or website will NOT store a new card for your monthly dues.

Q?How do I cancel my membership?
A.

We have a 30 day cancellation policy. Please stop by the front desk at least 30 days before your next billing cycle so we can process your request. We can always email you the form if needed.

Q?How do I put a hold on my membership?
A.

Stop by the front desk or give us a call at least 2 weeks before your billing cycle so we can fill out paperwork to process your request.  You pay $10 per month for up to 4 months of the year to keep your membership active. There is a one-month minimum on suspension. 

Q?How do I upgrade or downgrade my Membership?
A.

Please stop by the front desk, call or text us at least 2 weeks before your next billing cycle to get the proper paperwork.

Q?How do I cancel a class?
A.

All classes except the 6 am classes have a 2-hour late cancel policy. 6 am classes need to be canceled by 8 pm the night before. Use your mobile app or call the front desk during normal business hours to cancel your reservation. No show or late cancellations will result in a $17.00 fee or a reduction of on session from your package.

Q?Do you offer Personal Training?
A.

Yes. We are partnered with some of Portland’s best personal trainers to give you what you need. Read their bios here and feel free to reach out to them directly.  Our personal trainers are all independent contractors and here to support you on your fitness journey.

Q?How do I book a Massage?
A.

Stop by the front desk or go here to check out available appointments.  Massage appointments have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Q?How do I sign up for a class?
A.

You can register for classes by logging into our mobile Me Fitness Studios app or your mefitstudios.com profile. Remember! Group Fitness classes open 7 days in advance for you to reserve your spot. Playground small group personal training sessions allow you to book out as far out in advance as you’d like.

Create a profile through the account tab. If you’ve already been to the facility you already have a profile, so just hit log in. The email you provided us with is your username and by hitting forgot password you will be able to create a custom one.
