Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Kam Harwood started his fitness journey at a young age. His passion for sports involved playing basketball, soccer and golf throughout college. He finds great joy in exploring the outdoors and loves activities such as skiing, surfing, swimming, hiking, mountaineering and rock climbing. After suffering an ACL knee injury, his journey through physical therapy sparked his drive to help others in exercise and recovery. He carried his love for fitness with him to the University of Idaho where he graduated in 2012 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a B.A. in Spanish.
Kam’s training style is focused around functional and natural movements, targeted to an individual and their goals. By using body weight movement, strength training, cardio and proper nutritional guidance, each client receives a customized program that suits their lifestyle. Regardless if you are brand new to fitness or have been exercising your whole life, Kam finds it an honor to use his passion to help support his clients on their fitness journey.
Kam has been in the fitness industry since 2012 where he moved to Portland, Oregon and began working as a personal trainer. He has worked with every demographic from wheel chair bound clients, to general weight loss and professional athletes. Kam specializes in building personal training programs while working one on one with clients of all ages and levels of fitness. He enjoys pairing personal training with small and large group fitness classes or boot camps in order to gain maximum results. His belief is with proper movement and consistency, we all can reach our goals with a little hard work and support.
