WHERE ARE YOU FROM? WHY PORTLAND?
Originally from the Philippines and grew up in the Bay Area California. My wife and I moved to Portland in search of a more balanced and active lifestyle. We love the outdoors and the Portland vibe.
WHAT MAKES YOUR CLASS SO AWESOME?
“It’s like a box of chocolate. You never know what you’re going to get!” I use my
creativity to think out of the traditional fitness box. I use the experience I’ve gained in my martial arts studies, various sports, and fitness to create fun, challenging, functional movement classes to keep you on your toes.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC MOMENT THAT GOT YOU INTO FITNESS? GUSH ABOUT
I will never forget the first fitness Bootcamp I ever taught. My friend and mentor threw me in with little or no experience but believed in me and my skills. After the class, I felt amazing and empowered. A participant came up to me after class and said “thank you, that was amazing. I never taught I can push myself that hard or do the stuff you asked me to do.” That is when I realized that I was meant to be in fitness as a career.
WHEN YOU'RE NOT FITNESSING, WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?
I love exploring new places to camp and hike with my wife. We also love sampling
Portland’s amazing food scene and dancing. I enjoy getting out and meeting interesting and diverse people.

TO GET YOU GOING?
When I’m feeling down I think to myself that I just need to show up and get started doing something I am passionate about.
